Our Purpose and Mission Statement:
To organize, educate, engage, empower women of ATU local 587 by their participation in ATU and the legislative arenas on the local and international levels. To inspire, educate, and organize all members of ATU local 587 to support the goals and beliefs of the Women’s Caucus. To promote unionism and to raise the political consciousness of all members of the Amalgamated Transit Union as necessary components of good policy in our industries: to collect and disseminate information to and between members of ATU local 587.
